2022 Annual Report
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20)
Last year our Board of Trustees came prayerfully together to refine our mission/vision and core values. I want to begin by sharing this because it so aptly describes the beautiful tapestry God wove together and called 100 Shares Tampa Bay.
100STB Mission/Vision:
100+ women joyfully giving in partnership to mobilize resources so that Christian ministries in Tampa Bay are elevated to new levels of service while winning the community for Jesus.

I know of no better way to begin sharing about the epic year God gave than to say, “To Him be the glory for the great things He has done.” He did, indeed, do more than we asked or imagined.
On April 22nd at our annual luncheon held at the St. Petersburg Marriott we once again surpassed our goal and gave away $187,600 dollars to two incredible ministries whose hearts break for that which breaks the heart of Jesus. These ministries are determined to be Jesus’ hands and feet and are meeting the needs of the “least of these” and “sharing the Gospel.”
- $87,600 was granted to Lighthouse Ministries
- $100,000 was granted to Man Up and Go (that’s our third $100,000 grant)
By His power that is at work within us we have now granted a total of $755,515.

The grants are not the only milestone to be grateful for. I’m thrilled to tell you that as of the time of this writing we are now 179 partners strong walking together on this joyful giving journey.
The 2023 grant cycle is already in full motion. We had a record number of grant applications – 24 Total. Trust me, the grants committee, led by Tricia Collins, had a busy September! In October the Board of Trustees united by the Spirit, prayerfully selected the following four finalists:
- Hillsborough House of Hope
- New Life Solutions
- The C.S. Lewis Society
- West Florida Foster Care Services
We announced these finalists at our Fall Coffee held at the Centre Club in Tampa on October 20th. It was amazing to have so many of our partners join us for this announcement.
Next up … the site visits are scheduled for January and February (1/13, 1/27, 2/4, & 2/11). The site visits are such an exciting part of this journey as we get to experience first-hand what God is doing in and through these ministries here in our own backyard. You don’t want to miss these and be sure to bring a friend!
We’re always looking for women who are willing to share not just their treasures but also their time and talents to help us grow this ministry. I have been blessed to be surrounded by such an incredible Board of Trustees. We are actively looking to increase our committees – communications, events, finance, grants, partnership, prayer, site visits, and social media. If you have any interest in helping our hard-working board, please let me know. Trust me, being a part of these committees and the board of trustees elevates this joyful giving journey to a whole new level.
I am so grateful for our founders: Vicki Carver, Gayle Cawood, Pat Frank, Joanne Lanning, Beth Reed, Lina Treleaven, and Angie Waldauer. Each of these women heeded God’s call to start this ministry.
I am also so grateful for each of you – our partners – who have such tremendous hearts for generosity. 100 Shares Tampa Bay continues to flourish as we unite generous, like-minded women (and a few brave men) to impact Tampa Bay in a way that honors God with the resources He has entrusted to us. We are on track to reach our goal to grant a cumulative amount of 1.8 million dollars and to have 260 partners by the year 2027.
To God be the glory for what He has done in 2022 and for what we know He will continue to do in 2023.
